Ford Silver World Excellence Award

MARKHAM, ON (April 29, 2004) - Multimatic received Ford Motor Company's Silver World Excellence Award, recognizing Anton Manufacturing, a division of Multimatic, as one of its top suppliers in the world for 2003 performance.

The World Excellence Award provides annual recognition based on quality, cost and delivery metrics jointly developed by Ford and its suppliers. Forty-two suppliers from different countries won awards in various categories.

Nick Scheele, Ford president and a member of Ford's Board of Directors, said "awarded suppliers did an exceptional job delivering goods and services to Ford during the most competitive automotive market the world has seen."

The Silver Award is given to the business units of suppliers that excel in all three areas of quality, cost and delivery; twenty-four suppliers won the Silver Award this year.
